Dr. Megan Baebler

Veterinarian

Dr. Megan is a 2007 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, she completed a 1-year internship in avian and exotic pet medicine at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX. After her internship, she worked in Chicago for 2 years in exotic pet medicine and emergency medicine before moving back to her hometown of St. Louis. After moving back, she worked for several years at Bird Medicine and Surgery in Chesterfield treating both exotic pets and dogs and cats, as well as part-time work in high volume spay and neuter for Hartz Second Chance in Collinsville. For the last 3 years, she has been a full-time veterinarian for the Animal Emergency center in Collinsville before deciding to transition back to “day life” by joining Best Friends. Dr. Megan’s clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, exotic pet medicine, pain management in pets, and treating more emergent and critical animals. Dr. Megan lives in Caseyville with her husband, 2 cats, 6 dogs and a Senegal parrot. In her free time, Dr. Megan enjoys Scuba Diving, cooking, flower arranging and nail art.
